Arthur Spriggs Van, Truck, and Bus are seeking dedicated Parts Advisors to join our close-knit team in Tewkesbury. If you have experience in the automotive industry and a strong work ethic, this is an opportunity to grow, learn, and uphold the high-quality service we are known for.

 

What Will I Be Doing?

 

As a Parts Advisor, your role will be both dynamic and customer-focused. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Primarily serving Technicians on the back counter, with front counter retail and trade customer service after training.
  • Ordering, selling, and managing stock control of a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories across the brands we represent.
  • Conducting regular PI (Perpetual Inventory) counts.
  • Handling a high volume of calls effectively and professionally.
  • Making upsells to customers while ensuring high-quality service at all times.

This is a role that requires a proactive approach, a team-driven attitude, and a willingness to enhance both the department and the customer’s experience with every interaction.

 

What Do I Need?

 

To excel as a Parts Advisor, the following skills and qualifications are essential:

  • Knowledge of Kerridge, 1Link, Pinnacle, or similar DMS systems.
  • Experience serving both trade and retail customers on front and back counters.
  • Strong customer service skills, coupled with confidence in sales.
  • A proven background in customer service (minimum of 2 years).
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.

Education to GCSE level or equivalent is desirable, and a friendly, adaptable outlook is a must.
