Heavy Goods Truck Technician
After securing a number of lucrative contracts our Commercial Business seeks a number of Truck technicians to work out of our modern facility in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.
We are seeking level 3 NVQ or (similar qualification) fully qualified technicians ideally familiar and experienced in working on Heavy Goods vehicles.
The successful candidate will be able to service, maintain and repair a fleet of mixed heavy commercial vehicles the majority of which are Mercedes Benz , complete all paperwork in an efficient and accurate manner. Work as a team with your colleagues to ensure vehicle jobs are completed to the required time and standards and be able to work on your own initiative as well.
The successful candidate will be able to diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment, carry out inspections to VOSA standards.
A Heavy goods vehicle license is highly desirable to be able to carry out the tasks effectively but not essential.
The working week is 42.5 hours less breaks
Working hours will be primarily shift patterns to meet the needs of the business and are one week of early from 6am, one week of days from 8 am and one week of lates from 3pm, there is an option however to work a permanent Late shift only.
Regular Overtime is available throughout the week and on Saturday mornings.
